The Republic, a vast, sprawling kingdom of world governments from Sol to Sol 2 oversees the slow crawl of humanity across the Milky Way. The year is 16 AD (After Dominion), more specifically 16 galactic hours AD. AD defined as the time when humanity fully conquered the Milky Way, from end to end. As for when AD happened, it was in the year 10.23 Mags (or 10 Millenia after galactic sprawl). Galactic sprawl happened in the year 2124 C.E.

As the first rays of light pierced the horizon, casting long shadows across the alien landscape, I am awestruck by the sight before me. Two suns, a fiery red dwarf and a golden-hued star, slowly rise above the horizon, their light illuminating the barren, rocky terrain. The smaller, red dwarf sun, a distant ember in the sky, casts a faint, reddish glow, while the larger, golden star, a beacon of warmth and light, dominates the sky.

As the two suns ascend, their light gradually illuminates the desolate landscape, revealing a world of craters, canyons, and towering rock formations. The air is thin and cold, the wind whipping across the surface, carrying with it grains of dust and sand.

The landscape was a stark contrast to the barren, desolate world I had imagined. The surface was dotted with domed cities, geothermal power plants, and hydroponic farms, all teeming with human life. The air was filled with the sounds of machinery, the chatter of people, and the hum of energy shields protecting the colony from the harsh radiation.

As the two suns ascended to their zenith, their light illuminated the bustling city, revealing a vibrant and thriving civilization. People went about their daily lives, working, playing, and enjoying the unique beauty of their double-sun world. The children played in the parks, their laughter echoing through the streets. The workers toiled in the hydroponic farms, cultivating food for the colony. And the scientists and engineers worked tirelessly to expand the colony’s reach and knowledge.

As the day draws to a close, the two suns begin their descent, their light fading as they sink below the horizon. The sky darkens, and the stars begin to twinkle, their light piercing the darkness. The temperature drops rapidly, making the night a harsh and unforgiving time.

As I gaze upon the two suns, I am filled with a sense of wonder and awe. This is a world unlike any other, a world of extremes, a world of beauty and desolation.
